Building Safety Act 2022
Sets out requirements for the golden thread of information for higher-risk buildings (at least 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more residential units), including who must maintain it and how it should be managed.
Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
Requires a health and safety file to be prepared and handed to the client at project completion, which forms part of the wider handover information.
Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
